Who is APEX, o.p.s.?
A non-profit organization established in 1992 as APEX Foundation (hence the domain name) and run by former participants of exchange programs.

What does "o.p.s." mean?
It's a suffix denoting a non-profit company.

What is the role of APEX, o.p.s.?
Advise which program is suitable for a given purpose, help complete all the documents needed for applying, perform an interview if required, and transfer the entire application packet, interview report and payment to the program sponsor. Furthermore, assist with the visa application, transfer all information materials received from the program sponsor to the participant, perform the pre-departure Orientation if required and answer participants questions before they depart for the USA.

There's more than one "APEX", any relation?
No. It's unfortunately very common name. We are not related whatsoever to any other company called "APEX". This is also the reason why we always spell the whole name of the company as APEX, o.p.s. on our communication, instead of reffering to ourselves simply as to APEX.

What is the history of APEX, o.p.s.?
As a bunch of graduate-year students, we started a language school in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1990. It was a wild success as most English teachers back then were in fact teachers of Russian who were just two lessons ahead of their own students. In 1991 got the idea of offering services to students who wished to apply to an American exchange program. In 1992, first students whom we helped to apply left for the USA and first American students whom we helped to get legally a job here arrived. In 1995 we began offering our services in Poland and later we added Estonia, Finland, Austria, etc.
