It is located mostly in Wyoming and contains more than 2 million acres of steaming geysers, crystalline lakes, waterfalls and panoramic views. The park is also one of the worlds foremost wildlife sanctuaries, there is a great diversity of mammals, birds and fish. The park is not near any big city but there are many outdoor activities available.

We are a dude ranch located 7 miles off the Yellowstone National Park. We are five miles off the road at an altitude of 7,000 feet. We take families for a week at a time. Our primary activities are horseback riding and fishing. Riding is available to employees on their time off. We are like one big family here. You will not want to leave.

The Lodge is a four stars hotel in the North Cascade Mountains in the state of Washington. It’s about 200 miles north-east from Seattle, near Canadian border. When we arrived, the employer picked up us at the airport in Seattle.The hotel hires university/college students from around the world, so there’s always nice “global” crowd. There are very nice people in this hotel and working with them is pleasure. I was there twice working as housekeeper and it was always great summer!It is in the mountains so when we had a day off we usually went hiking, riding horses, swimming to the lake or shopping :-) If you like beautiful nature and outdoor sports, it is a good place where you can spend next summer ;-)

Small “Fine dining” restaurant which has the back yard is located on the Island Stone Harbor. 30 minutes far away from Atlantic City and 3 hours from New York city. Stone Harbor is the summer area where rich American people have holiday. The restaurant is very famous and popular there and guests has been coming back every summer. The best thing is: restaurant is open just for dinner, so you can find SECOND JOB very easily (for example housekeeping, maintenance). Restaurant is located in the hotels area.
Housing: $1000.00 per month for whole house | Salary: $4.25 per hour + tips (Server Assisant), $8.15 per hour, and $12.00 per hour overtime (Dishwasher)
This family owned 50 room hotel is located on the oceanfront and is within walking distance of the area’s attractions. You will be one hour away from Atlantic City, 1,5 hours from Philadelphia, and two hours from New York City. There are many water activities, such as sailing and swimming, in the area. Many families come to Long Beach Island to vacation for the summer and there are many stores, pubs, cinemas, and things to do.

This establishment is a private club with warm and friendly members. They are very busy on the weekends with special events such as weddings and live music. You will have access to many outdoor summer activities such as swimming, sailing, para-sailing, fishing, water skiing. One of the world’s greatest amusement parks, Cedar Point, is only 20 minutes away.

This is a pool company that provides lifeguard and pool maintenance service to pools in Northern Virginia. This company hires many international students every summer. You will be placed at various locations in Northern Virginia, in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. There will be many restaurants and shopping centers located close to you, and you will easily be able to visit the nation’s capital as well.
Housing: $85.00 per week | Salary: $7.25 per hour
This is a canoe, kayak, rafting and tubing rental business who also outfit canoe camping trips. It is a great job for those who are strong and love the outdoors. Business will basically slow down at the end of August and shut down in early September. The shut down takes about one more week and then your employer will help you get day jobs in the towns near by. Some years business is still steady into September. If that is the case you will continue to work with the canoes into late September.

This employer is a private summer resort club on Cape Cod with 450 members. It has nine tennis courts, a beach, 44 guest rooms, an 18-hole golf course, and more. It is 1 mile from the center of the town, only about 1 hour from Boston, and 7 miles from Hyannis.

The hotel has hosted international students for many years and it has a very warm atmosphere. The hotel is located on Cape Cod, a resort/beach area. It is in a very quiet and beautiful part of the Cape. Other InterExchange students will be at some of the nearby inns. You can also take the ferry to the resort islands of Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket.

This resort is a complete family resort located on the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee waterfront. Its well maintained spacious grounds and comfortable accommodations provide the perfect vacation setting – relaxing and fun in any season. It is a beautiful area with lakes, forests, hills, and mountains. It can be very warm during the day, but sometimes at night it gets colder. There are many opportunities for hiking, biking, water sports, and enjoying the outdoors.
Housing: $35.00 per week | Salary: $7.50 per hour
This company provides beach chair and umbrella delivery and setup for Charleston, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island and surrounding areas for beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and bicycles. Personal water craft like Jet Skis can be rented to explore nearby islands. Getting around the island is easy, with most roads having marked bike paths for safety. Bicycle and rollerblade rentals are available on the island.

You will be working at a store in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This employer is one of the largest supermarket chains in the United States, operating 1,300 supermarkets, and offers quality products in 11 Southeast and Mid- Atlantic states.
