Description of Business: The club is a private fly-fishing club in eastern Idaho, 30 miles from West Yellowstone, Montana, USA. The Club has a long tradition of fly-fishing and family activities centered around a lodge and 50-seat dining room, serving 25 members with thein guests and families.

Description of Area: The Club is located away from close neighbors. The site is two miles (3.5 km) from a busy resort. Transportation can often be arranged. Some of our staff find additional part-time work at the resort. Staff arriving from abroad should book into Idaho Falls, ID. We can provide transportation from Idaho Falls to our site.

Travel Time to the job site, example: 8 hours from New York by plane. Cost $300.00.

Job Details

Work Description: Wait staff help may include serving food, taking orders and assisting diners in dining room. Kitchen Help may include washing and re-shelving soiled dish ware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook. The position requires standing, bending and walking. The kitchen area, at times may have high humidity and temperatures.

Salary and Bonuses: $10.00 per hour

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Accommodation Cost: $25.00 per week

Accommodation Description: Housing will consist of a private room on the premises of the club with a shower. Breakfast and dinner are provided six days per week. Kitchen/Wait staff have access to the main kitchen and usually they get together for other meals.

  • Conversational English
  • Minimum placement duration 12 weeks (or for summer, until Labor Day, whichever is longer)
  • Minimum placement is 2.5 months in national parks

Uniform/Dress Code: You always need to maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the job. Clothing for wait staff duty should include a collared shirt and dress trousers (not blue jeans or shorts). You should bring good comfortable shoes, such as sneakers, to work in. Males should not have long hair or excessive facial hair. Women with long hair must keep it tied back. Only natural colored hair is acceptable. Earrings are acceptable; no other piercing should be visible at work. When you are on the property you must be dressed conservatively. No smoking is allowed.
