Description of Area: This area of Montana is nestled in a valley of the Rocky Mountains and is the perfect place to work and play. There are many natural attractions in the area such as geysers, mountain ranges, rivers, waterfalls, ancient volcanoes and wildlife all around. There are lakes that offer boating, fishing, wind surfing and camping. The local landscape lends itself to hiking, biking, tours and many other outdoor activities. The small town atmosphere provides local shopping and many historical sites to visit. You can relax and enjoy the amazing beauty of this natural paradise or keep yourself busy with all the outdoor activities.

Travel Time to the job site, example: Plan your arrival on a Monday – Friday schedule. There will be no pick up on Saturday and Sunday or after 10pm local standard time any day of the week. If you arrive during the no pick up times, you are responsible for your own hotel accommodations.

Job Details

Work Description: The position of housekeeper requires employees to be neat, clean and work independently. Shift starts at 8am and will sign our keys from the head housekeeper and get their rooms assignment. They will start stripping the linen out of the vacated rooms and then continue with cleaning of such rooms. As guests check out they will continue to clean rooms until their list is completed. At that time the head housekeeper will check all their rooms and will sign off on the rooms as clean. Once this is done, the housekeeper will stock their cart and see if there are other tasks at hand to be done. If there are tasks to be done, they will punch in and be on the clock for this work. This work is by the hour and is paid at $8.50 per hour. These duties may include but are not limited to the following; cleaning and vacuuming the lobby area, sweeping and cleaning the parking lot, doing laundry, watering plants, cleaning exterior and interior windows, cleaning air conditioning units, cleaning carpets, cleaning the RV restrooms and laundry room, pulling weeds, stocking the breakfast bar, stocking store room closets, cleaning the hot tub room, other small duties may apply. Minimal customer relations are presented.

Salary and Bonuses: Employees are paid by the room so once a housekeeper has been through training they can make up to $10.00 per hour. When they are on the clock they are paid $8.50 per hour. All employees are paid bi-monthly on Friday.

Work Hours: Average 16-20 rooms/day, approximately 6 hours/day. The work week will be set when they arrive. With a 5 day work week we try to keep days off together. With a 6 day work week we try to make it a set schedule.

Accommodation Cost: $225.00 – $300.00 per month depending on unit

Accommodation Description: Housing is dorm style with a refrigerator, microwave and television. The bathroom is private $225.00 per month. There are also some units that have kitchens (if available) $300.00 per month. Rent includes utilities – water, power, cable, wifi. Rooms have a bed, chest, television, sheets, towels, bedspread and microwave. Housing must be contracted for the duration of your stay so finding your own housing is not an option.

Requirements: Conversational English, able to understand and follow instructions, attention to detail, motivated by guest satisfaction.

Uniform/Dress Code: Comfortable shoes, shirt and pants. Neat, clean, daily bathing is expected, you must wear clean, recently washed clothing.
