SPECIAL!! Work in the USA for the entire year!

Hampton Inn left side

Hampton Inn

Would you like to work in the USA for the entire year, instead of just in the summer? It’s possible! Even if you are no longer a student!

A complex of one existing hotel and steakhouse, and another hotel and waterpark that are being built, will need several dozen employees arriving gradually between now and July 2011.

Hurry up! Three employees are needed to start from October 2010!

The existing hotel is Hampton Inn, member of Hilton family of hotels. The new hotel will be Holiday Inn Express, member of InterContinental Hotel Group.

All positions normally needed in hotel/restaurant are available, from housekeepers, qualified chefs, supervisors, up to management trainees. All positions are paid, except for those strictly in management training who receive a stipend to help cover their living expenses.

This is an excellent opportunity for people studying for a diploma or BA in hotel/restaurant management, or general management.

Students and recent graduates up to 12 months after graduation are eligible. Applicants who never studied at a tertiary educational institution, such as chefs and waiters, must posses at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience in the field to qualify.

We will pre-screen applicants for their visa eligibility and language skills, and will help complete the paperwork. Suitable candidates will then be interviewed directly by the employer.

Email us today for more details: [email protected]

Please note: APEX Foundation only handles the initial paperwork processing and pre-screening for the employer. I doesn’t act as your agent and is not a party to any agreement between you and your employer.

Hi! Is it possible to work in Hampton Inn for the entire year when I am majoring in tourism? Thank you!
    Kind regards Nela Deakova

      Hi Nela,

Hi Nela. Possibly. I agree tourism is close. The problem is if it’s accepted by the USA Department of State. Please, write us an email with more details about your school, your major and minor field of study, and your work experience up to this moment. It will help us evaluate how close you are to the approved study fields. Thank you.

Hi!, I want to know if it is possible for me to be hired if I don’t have studies in the field of tourism or hotels ( I studied in other field) , and my only experience is like housekeeping the 2009 summer at the Hamptons.

    • admin says:

Hi Francini. Unfortunately, you don’t seem to be eligible to participate in this program. The problem is that the intern/trainee visa can only be issued to people doing internship in the same field that they studied, or in which they have more than 5 years of demonstrable practical experience. So unless you studied (or have those 5 years of experience) in hospitality management, hotel management, food and beverage management or general management, you can not get the visa.

whether this can still apply? I’m interested and have graduated over 8 months and I have completed hotel and restaurant management, greeting

    • admin says:

Dear Ljubica, you are not saying much about yourself. What country are you from? Are you still a student? Of which field? Etc. We can’t tell you if you are eligible without this kind of information.

    Hi,
I am from Greece 43 years old (look very fresh) i was working in the U.S 3 years ago in Margaritaville Key West ,i also work in Sheraton Suites and in Hilton Key West as a Bartender and i was a G.M in a restaurant in Key west and South Carolina.
I have work for more than 12 years in 5* Hotels in Myconos Greece and Pelopones Greece as a waiter ,Bartender, and restaurant Manager.
I am not a student and i like to work in the U.S ,i am a Greek citizen with Greek passport i speak and write English fluent.

    • admin says:

Hello Ioannis, sadly, the J1 Intern/Trainee visa which is needed for this placement can only be issued to people under 35 years of age. You might want to go to the UK instead http://www.apex-foundation.org/hospitality-employment-programme-uk/, but the positions are rather entry-level, definitely not in management! After all, these are programs for students and young people to get work experience. But if you’d like to go to England to “get away from it all” and maybe find yourself connections for a higher-level job while you’d be there, you can apply.

    Hello,
I am from Indonesia, i am 27 years old, i dont know whether this offer still available or not :) I graduated my tourism diploma majoring in front office last year, but my working experience is only 1 year in the same field and almost 8 years in different field which is retail industry, Am I still eligible for this employment?? Thanks in advance :)

    • admin says:

Hello Putu, unfortunately this post is 2 years old. If you find yourself your own internship/trainee placement in the USA, you can apply for this program: http://www.apex-foundation.org/internships-usa-j1-visa-sponsorship/ Alternatively, you could do a hospitality internship in South Africa (includes placement, but is unpaid) or in Mauritius (includes placement and most participants get small stipend to help cover their accommodation costs).

  10. pathrezia says:

I am a 27 female from douth africa. I haven’t studied anything but do have 6 years experience as a waitress

  11. romeo vincent says:

Pls sir how can I register online.

    • Misa says:

Hello Romeo, unfortunately this placement is no more available. If you would like to try another program, you can apply e.g. for Internship in South Africa (includes placement, but is unpaid) or Internship in Mauritius (includes placement and most interns receive a small stipend).

  12. pathrezia says:

Do you recruit h2b applicants too? Or just J1? I’m not sure which 1 I should apply for

    • Misa says:

Hello Pathrezia, we deal only with exchange and student programs visas here. For the H2B visa you need to find yourself an employer who is approved to hire foreign workers, and the employer can then sponsor you for this visa.
The post under which you are commenting, is 2 years old. So the placement is unfortunately no more available. If you would like to try another program, here’s the full list: http://www.apex-foundation.org/programs/all-by-country/
